It is the best beach located in Tingloy, Batangas, Philippines. The beach’s main island, which is actually the famous island, is located nearly 45 minutes to 1 hour away from Anilao or Talaga Port.

A boat ride is the leading transport service to reach the beach from both of the ports. The main island looks like a fish-shaped Maricaban.

To reach one of the best beaches in the Philippines, you can manage a lot of things like –

Firstly, You have to take a bus up to Batangas City and then alight at the Grand Terminal. The cost of the travel would be around 170 to 200 Pesos.

The travel can take up to 2 to 3 hours depending on the time you have started your journey. Meanwhile, if you leave early in the morning, you can only dodge Manila city’s rush hour.

It can take up to two to three hours if you leave early in the morning. Otherwise, a 4 hours journey is not a long journey to be at Masasa Beach.

Now, You have to ride a jeepney from the Grand Terminal to Talaga Port or Anilao Port. You can find where the jeepney stations would be; if you didn’t find out, just look around and ask locals, they would help you find the jeepney’s stations.

The riding cost would be around 40 to 50 Pesos, and it can take 40 minutes to 1 hour to reach the Talaga or Anilao Port.

Note:

You can find boats to reach Masasa Beach; boats are docked at either Anilao or Talaga Port. Also, Anilao Port is used from the start of December up to June, while the other half time, the Talaga Port is used to reach Masasa Beach or Tingloy. Now, the final journey begins to reach Masasa Beach – Once you get Anilao or Talaga port, you will have 2 different options to reach Masasa Beach –

But before, you have to pay an environmental fee of 80 Pesos in addition to the fare.

  • Catch a public boat to Tingloy Port. It would take around 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  • You can go directly to Masasa Beach, but there are fewer boats to reach now than to go to Tingloy Port first. Also, the fare would be higher than the first option.
